PRAYERS OF CONSECRATION
I wrote these two prayers while in confinement at the Buffalo Psychiatric Center, and the idea of creating a ministry dedicated to the love of Jesus and Mary was born. For a long time, I recited these prayers every morning before I even got out of bed; I didn’t want to do a single thing without knowing that my Mother and Brother were with me that day. I still recite them every morning, but through the years I’ve come to know that Jesus and Mary are with me whether I ask them to be with me or not; offering my day to them is just my gift in return to them for the constant care, guidance and protection they provide. When you say these prayers, I hope you find them to be as gratifying to you as I’m sure they are to those to whom they are addressed.
Consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary
O Virgin Mary, Mother of God, Mother of the Church, Mother of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and my very own Mother, I consecrate myself this day to your Holy and Immaculate Heart, and I offer to you my mind, my heart, my body and my soul, my thoughts, words and actions, prayers, works, joys, sufferings of this day, all of my goods both internal and external, all of my time, and all that I am for you to use as you see fit for the salvation of all the souls in purgatory and all humankind; in reparation for the sins, outrages, sacrileges, and indifference committed against the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary; for the conversion of poor sinners; in your work to destroy Satan and all the other evil spirits; and for the greater glory and honor of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
I want to be just what you want me to be and to do just what you want me to do. I am not afraid because you are always with me. Help me to love your son, Jesus, with all my heart and above all things. Take my hand in yours so I can always be with you.
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with you. Blessed are you among women and blessed is the fruit of your womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for all sinners now and at the hour of all death. Amen.

Consecration to the Sacred Heart of Jesus
O loving Jesus, King of the universe, King of my heart, King of all souls, and King of everlasting life, I consecrate myself this day to your Sacred and Eucharistic Heart, and I offer to you my mind, my heart, my body and my soul, my thoughts, words and actions, prayers, works, joys, sufferings of this day, my sins and errors, faults and failings, my known and unknown attractions to temptation, and all that keeps me from you, our heavenly Father and the Immaculate Heart of our Mother Mary.
There is no one and no thing I adore more than you. I believe you are truly present in the most holy Sacrament of the Altar and in the Body and Blood I receive at Holy Communion within the celebration of the Mass. I am grieved by the pain and suffering inflicted upon you at your passion and death caused by my transgressions; I never, ever want to hurt you again.
Please grant me the right judgement to make good decisions, and the personal desire and courage I need to stand up for you and your holy Church, to defend your sacred and venerable name, to glorify the Father to the best of my ability, to demonstrate my love for you in the love I show to others, and to help bring about your kingdom here on earth. Keep me free of and from all sin and evil, give me a humble and grateful heart, and never let me be parted from you.
